Disc Soccer Field (Field Version):
- Field = 120yds x 53.3yds.
- Goal (gray) = disc golf baskets (56" x 26").
- Goal Zones = 25yds x 53.3yds (f) each.
- Distance between Goal & Endline = 15yds.
- Initiate Play = each quarter begins with both teams lining up on the front of their respective Goal-Zone line. The defense throws ("pulls") the disc to the offense.
- There are unlimited substitutions
- Players not in the game may replace players in the game after a score and during an injury timeout.
- Each team gets 2 timeouts for the whole game.
- Putter discs only.
- Diameter = 8-9" (20-23cm).
- Weight = 120-180g.

- 7 players on the field at any time; Teams have 21-25 players on roster.
- Teams may be coed, though they are not required to be.
- Only 3 offensive and defensive players (6 players total) may be in the goal zones at any time.
- The disc may be advanced in any direction by completing a pass to a teammate.
- Players may not run with the disc.
- The player holding the disc must maintain a pivot point which does not "travel" throughout their possession.
- A team can advance the disc to the goal zone they are attacking through any number of passes, including (but not limited to) one long throw to the end zone, or several shorter passes.
- The defender guarding the person with the disc counts out the stall count, which is 8 seconds.
- If a pass is incomplete, caught out of bounds, intercepted or knocked out of the air by the defense, it is a "turn over" and the opposing team immediately gains possession, trying to score in the opposite direction.
- There can only be 1 player defending in a 10' radius around the person who has the disk. The defender must hold their arms straight else the person with the disk can call a foul (wrapping).
- There can only be 1 player within a 10' radius around the disc golf basket.
- The defender guarding the person with the disc counts out the stall count, which is 8 seconds.
- No physical contact is allowed between players.
- Stall count violation.
- Out-of-bounds.
- Dropped/intercepted/blocked pass.
- Goals can only be scored inside of the goal zone.
- All goals are with 1 point.
- T-shirt and Shorts.
- Similar to rugby, both teams must wear their dark color uniforms during games unless either 1) the teams share similar colors or 2) if someone is colorblind; If that is the case, the designated home team will wear their dark color uniforms and the away team will wear either 1) their lighter color uniforms or 2) an alternative darker color uniform.
- Once a goal is scored, play will restart similarly to basketball.
- Once the disc goes out of bounds, a throw-in will take place.
- The thrower may pass to a teammate anywhere on the court; The receiver is not allowed to shoot regardless of his/her location.
- When a player initiates contact on another player a foul occurs.
- When a foul disrupts possession, the play resumes as if the possession was retained.
- If the player committing the foul disagrees with the foul call, the play is redone.
